An Introduction to Entrepreneurship



Introduce Saskatchewan students to entrepreneurship with this engagaing locally-developed program from the Saskatoon Industry Education Council.
SaskMoney Start Features
- Eight interactive online modules
- Fourteen videos featuring advice from Saskatchewan-based entrepreneurs
- A Teacher’s Guide
- Assignment and project suggestions, including rubrics for blended learning
- A certificate for completing online content
- An option to track student progress
Program Overview
- SaskMoney Start is free for Saskatchewan teachers and students!
- Content is connected to the first five modules in the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education’s Entrepreneurship 20-30 curriculum
- This program is intended for grade 7-9 students, but it can be used to supplement learning in Entrepreneurship 20/30 classes.
- Content can be delivered in mutiple ways:
- Entirely Online: Students progress through the appoximately 2-hour course on their own
- Blended Learning: Teachers can supplement online content with guiding questions, activities, and graphic organizers supplied in the Teacher’s Guide.
- Blended Plus Project: Additional assignments and project suggestions are included in the Teacher’s Guide.
