A Discussion about Financial Literacy in the High School Classroom

October 27 @ 5:30 pm 7:30 pm Canada/Regina

Join the PennyDrops team for this event with teachers from across Canada!

“This event is being created in order to engage high school teachers and administrators in a discussion about the importance of teaching financial literacy to students. Through presentations and panels, we hope to provide a variety of perspectives on the current situations unfolding in high school classrooms across Canada. In discussions involving current teachers, we hope to brainstorm a few different ways to bring it into the typical high school student’s education, including through PennyDrops’ peer-to-peer mentoring programs.
The target audience for this event is high school teachers from multiple provinces who teach relevant subjects, such as Personal Finance, Civics, or Home Economics. It would also be beneficial to have unique perspectives from school administrators, such as Principals/Headmasters, Directors of Education, and more.”
